One moment, Eve had been standing at her mother's door, about to open it. Now she was on her butt, her legs slightly in the air. She quickly sat up and looked around. One look wasn't enough; Eve had to rub her eyes, pinch herself and look around again. It wasn't home anymore: it was... somewhere else.
Before her was a lone pillar in the middle of a vast desert. Tiny windows decorated the pillar, and random plants stuck of out a few of the open windows. Other than that, the landscape was bare. Shivering, Eve got to her feet and rubbed her forearms.
It was hard to know what to do. She was dumbstruck. Eve took a deep breath. First thing was to do was to inspect the pillar. It was pretty wide, wider than a semi-truck. If there were windows on the pillar it might be hollow, and if it was hollow it might have a door.
Eve put her hands behind her back and began to walk clockwise around the pillar, looking for any cracks that might indicate a door.

Taliat had been there a while, wandering the crystal sunflower field-cum-desert. It was odd how quickly the landscape had changed, thankfully with no harm to himself. His mind still couldn't wrap itself around the situation: for some reason or another, he wasn't at the university anymore. He felt as if he were walking through a dream.
Right now, though, he was walking toward a tall pillar off in the distance. He wasn't planning to do much with it when he got there. It would merely make a good landmark to help him navigate. He was starting to wonder, however, if he'd get anywhere if the landscape kept shifting so much.
At least this was sand, a desert. Nothing huge he could trip over. His vision blurred as one eye dilated separately of the other. Thankfully, the plliar was so large, he avoided crashing into it as he got closer. What surprised him, however, was the large door that lay in the pillar's wall. It was brown and plain, much unlike pale marble surrounding it.
Curious, Taliat opened the door and went into the pillar, only to be met with darkness.

Even as she was halfway around the pillar, she could hear someone opening a door, then closing it. Eve ran the rest of the way around and finally spotted the plain door that curved with the pillar. Her hand paused mid-way to the doorknob. While she'd rather not have to interact with another person, maybe this person knew what on earth was going on. Then again, the person slamming the door might not have been a person at all.
The door opened without a hitch. It was dark inside, the only light coming from behind Eve herself. She went in, keeping the door as wide open as she could. From what little she could see, there was a plain brown desk in one corner of the room, though it was upside-down. There were things like chairs and books and candles, but they stuck out of the wall at random angles. Some stairs twisted up from across the room.
Before she explored at all, she wanted to know who had come in here before her. If they were waiting in the shadowy parts of the room, getting ready to pounce on her with god-knew-what kind of weapon, she didn't want to be unprepared. There was plank of loose wood to her right and she began tug at it, hoping to make it a weapon of her own.

Talliat had, meanwhile, been feeling around for some sort of light. To his surprise, he had come across a candle sticking out of the wall. From the feel of it, the wick was new and the candle itself would last a long time. That was good. He grasped the base of the candle and yanked on it. His eyebrows furrowed. Once more, he pulled on the candle, throwing all his weight backward.
During all this, he did not notice that the door had opened again, and that a young girl was peeking inside. Finally, he put his foot against the wall, pushing against it with all his might. There was a loud crack and the candle came loose. Taliat went flying and hit the other wall.
"Aghk," he mumbled.

As soon as she heard the crash, Eve gave up on the plank and took up a nearby frying pan... or, at least, what remained of its handle. She stepped back a bit, inching closer to the door. She noticed that the handle had a sharp point to it, and held it in her hand like a knife.
"Who's there?" she demanded, keeping her voice low and steady.

"Zo, you zink you can deefeet ze eefil Professor Panic do you Shockwave?!" Professor Panic screamed in his horrible Austrian accent. Shockwave knew the truth, "Professor Panic" was Jack Duvale, a redneck from southern Illinios. Why he was pretending to be Austrian, no one knew. Probably because he was nuttier then a squirrel turd.
Crazy or not, Proffesor Panic was actually good at evil inventions. It was at this point he pulled a massive blaster rifle from behind the podium he stood at.
Shockwave smirked. "Looks like someone's over compensating for something." he replied to the mad man, just before dodging a green energy pulse. A row of desks behind him disappeared with a sizzling sound.
"Hold- er- Vold- No, no... Hold still you obnoxious oaf!" Panic screamed as he fired several more times. Shockwave winced as a green bolt found it's mark, catching him in the face. He didn't even have tome to think about how much this would hurt.
-------------------
With a popping sound, Shockwave found he wasn't dead, but instead- he was falling. So depending on how high up he was, he may be dead very soon. He opened his eyes, blinking away the after images of the decintagrator ray. Quick assessment, he was in a dessert, falling towords a helicopter landing pad, littered with desks.
Shockwave screamed. His sonic blasts cleared the area bellow him of debris. The shockwaves also slowed his decent a bit. He landed with a hard thud in the middle of the giant "H."
Laying there, face down, he realized that this was not a concrete helipad. This was made of a soft foam. That seemed odd. Then it opened beneath him and he fell down another ten feet, landing in a cylinder shaped room.
"Come on!" Shockwave yelled, using just a bit of his powers to amplify his voice. "Did a herd of black cats cross my path when I wasn't looking!?"

"Come on! Did a heard of black cats cross my path when I wasn't looking!?"
Eve stared at the man that had crashed through the "roof" of the pillar in amazement. The broken pan handle fell to the floor. A dude? In a superhero suit? How did that even--? Eve's mouth opened and closed, but no sound came out.
"Are you...?" She faltered, trying to collect the scattered bits of her thoughts. "Are you okay?" She walked forward to the man and knelt by him, offering a hand to help him up.

A woman asked if Shockwave was ok, and offered to help him up.
"I've had better days." He groaned, and accepted her help up. He looked around the odd shaped room. "But I feel better then this room looks." Shockwave saw that furniture was attached to the walls somehow. Another person, a man he noted, was fumbling with a candle.
Near the now open roof, small windows looked outside. This was strange. Windows on one side of the building looked out, into a forrest at dusk. The other side of windows showed daylight, with clear blue skies. Above them, a green light shown down, and with and audible *pop* a police car appeared, and lazily floated away on an unseen breeze.
"I must have cracked my melon harder then I thought. Either of you know where a hospital is?"

Taliat hardly flinched at the sound of the man crashing through the ceiling; he merely turned away to look for some matches, or at least a piece of flint. His rummaging proved fruitless in any case, for the candle, base and all, began to melt in his hand. Taliat flicked it away, flinching. It landed on the wall with a wet splat and slid to the floor, turning into what looked like a half-digested frog halfway down. Taliat blinked at it, his vision blurring.
Above him, something popped. Looking up, he could see a blurry car-shaped thingy appear, and then float away. He found the nearest solid object lodged into the wall--a lime green bookshelf--and pulled himself up off the floor. Using the wall as a guide, he made his way over to where the orange-ish blob and the black-ish blob were standing side-by-side.
"I don't think there's a hospital anywhere," he said, oblivious to the way the walls were turning white. "The landscape has no logic." His hand brushed by a stethoscope floating in mid-air. "I can help you tell if you have a concussion, however. Do you feel any nausea at all?"
The walls darkened and became slimy. Taliat jerked his hand away from the wall and wiped his hand on a handkerchief. "Smells like a sick ward," he muttered.

The landscape has no logic...
Had Professor Panic somehow trapped him in a dream? Or maybe a surealist painting? It seemed unlikely, but then again, a guy capable of leveling a building by yelling at it seemed unlikely as well.
So, Shockwave decided to roll with the punches. If reality was unhinged, he'd just have to go with it. Now to the matter of head trauma.
"No, no nausea. If anything, I'm hungrry. Names Shockeave, I'm the Circle City Superhero." He grinned at the other two people, and realized that they had never heard of him.
"So... Uh... I hope I'm not interrupting anything..." he pointed between the man and woman, feeling a bit embarrassed about the implication. The moment passed as a horrible thumping came from outside.

Thump-thump-thump-thump-thump. Dioji was standing outside of his dealer's layre. He just needed a little happy plant to get ready for the day. But his buddy still seems to be passed out. His knocking seemed futile. Bastard, it's almost one in the afternoon, and he is still sleeping? So Dioji did what he thought was necessary. He walked back to his layre, only a short walk away. He then grabbed the Slugball bat from his sykle, and walked back. He knocked politely one last time, and then he shouted to the door.
"I gave you ample warning. I-" Dioji swung the bat, cracking the front of the door. "AM-" Another swing, and the bottom half of the metal door crumpled up. Dioji could have crawled under, but this was more fun. "FUCK-" Dioji swung again, putting a large dent in the top half of the door. "ING-" Dioji swung again, completely knocking the door off of it's hinges. "HERE!" Dioji stepped inside, only to find Cuangi, his dealer, standing there with two Slitbulls on tesla-leashes. The dogs blades were crackling with electricity as Cuangi smiled. "An uninvited intruder. Sorry, Dioji. You're money isn't worth my safety." Cuangi turned off the tesla leash to let the Slitbulls loose, but Dioji was not afraid.
Dioji smiled, and swung the bat as hard as he could just as the first Slitbull leapt for his throat. Dioji closed his eyes in anticipation, only to strike something extremely solid, causing the bat to painfully jolt his hands He opened his eyes to see a large pillar standing before him, with what appeared to be a wooden door on it. But that door couldn't be wood, considering how hard Dioji just hit it. It should have splintered into tiny bits, but it didn't have a scratch on it Dioji inspected the door, and poked it. The door simply bent inwards with the pressure, and then retracted back to normal shape when he took his finger away. This was strange. Dioji looked around at the barren desert. It looked a little like Krieg, but the atmosphere was too different. He had no idea where he was, but he was no longer at Cuangi's layre. Dioji became agitated, and began swinging the bat at the door furiously. Each time, the door bounced back and forth like jello, but receiving no visible damage to it's structure at all.
After a few moments of swinging, Dioji dropped the bat, breathing heavily. Wow, I feel much better after that. Dioji was then able to think clearly and simply turn the handle and open the door, looking to see a crazy sight of vertical furniture and strange people he didn't know. "Woah. Dioji looked around the room, and seeing various objects simply float through the air. He grabbed a floating lighter, and pulled a joint from his pocket. Upon trying to spark the lighter, the lighter shot up a flower out of it's valve each time he clicked it. What the hell is going on here? Dioji pocketed his joint and looked around to the room. "Are you guys as confused as I am?"

Shockwave turned towords the door as another man entered. The guy had been trying to knock the thing down, then came in with a joint. He seemed as confused as Shockwave was, but it could be the drugs too. The super-sonic superhero would have to keep an eye on this guy.
"Confussed went out the window a while ago pal. I'm Shockwave, and you are? Did Professor Panic blast you into this Dali-esque landscape?"

Shockwave was waiting for answers, but none were forth coming. Then he realized why. The people in this room were looking in his direction, but not at him. They were looking at something just over his shoulder. That's when the shiver ran down his spine. A primal warning, remnants from ancient man, raced through him.
He dropped to one knee, turning in the process. Whatever the creature was, it's clawed hand went through the air where his head had just been. Shockwave screamed, the sonic blast sending the beast slamming into the wall.
Now that he could get a better look, the thing looked a bit like a Naga. The body looked like a 15 foot long snake, with purple skin. But it had the upper body of a woman. Her hands had razor sharp claws. It was her face that scared Shockwave the most. Aside from the purple skin, she looked human. She looked like a beautiful woman, maybe of Indian decent. But then her face split in half, vertically. She had an eye, half a nose, and half her lips, on either side of the gaping, hook-toothed maw.
The Naga quickie took up a posture on the wall, she coiled up. Shockwave rushed her, as she sprung at him. Her claws ripped into his forarms as he tackled her.
"You guys might want to flee in terror." he grunted. The naga opened her mouth wide, trying to swallow Shockwave's head. He screamed again, knocking her back. A few teeth fell from her hideous mouth.

It was a bit too much to take in. Eve flinched at the man with the bat, making a mental note to keep away from him in the future. The man with the glasses seemed harmless: he could hardly stand, so she went over to help him up.
The scream that tore through the pillar made her stop in her tracks. She looked back at Shockwave, her eyes wide. Any doubt that he might have been a super-hero was now gone. Any person that could produce that sort of noise and keep their vocal chords from bursting--
Besides that, he was fighting a freaking snake-lady. There was a term for it, Eve was sure, but as she was backing up, quietly trying to slide her shoulder under Taliat's arm.
"Look," she muttered, "we should run. If we manage to knock past the guy with the bat, we can get out of here quick and easy. When I say "run," we run!"

Axel was running as fast as he could down the sandy beach away from the guards of the mental institute. He kept running until there was nowhere else to run, he had reached a cliff. He turned and saw the guards running after him. "Should I do it..?" Axel thought as he looked at the cliff. He took one more look back at the guards who were about 15 yards away now. Then he jumped. Below him was a series of sharp rocks, about ten feet down from him when it happened.
Axel fell through the roof of some sort of pillar. He landed directly behind a young girl talking to a man in glasses. He scratched his head, he was dazed and confused about where he was. He felt confused, depressed, and most of all angry. He tried to stand up, but he moaned in pain and fell back down. He looked to the left with his one eye, then to the right. He noticed an open door. He could barley see out of it but he saw what looked like an ocean of sand. He tried moving again but his body screamed in disagreement. Giving up all hope of moving he screamed at the top of his lungs, "Where the hell am I?!?"
