❧Outer Musings

Name: Eve Mika Velish

Appearance: Eve is dark-skinned and dark-haired, her bright green eyes providing a contrast to the skin and hair. Her face is somewhat round, and her hair is straight. Eve likes to keep her hair short to prevent it from getting into her eyes. Once in a while, she will keep some short bangs. Sometimes she will let it grow out and fashion it into a bun.

As far as size goes, she is somewhat tall, measuring in at 5 feet 11 inches. She's very lanky and awkward all around. She walks slowly, and looks around her often, as if suspicious of her surroundings. She often wears dresses when its warm, and a shirt and trousers when it's cold. While she likes high-heels, she prefers slippers or sneakers or tennis shoes.

❧Inner Musings

Likes: Books, Quiet, Trees, Nature in general, the colors red and brown
Dislikes: Loud noises, people, crowds, excessive heat.
Personality: Eve is quite an introvert, keeping to herself. She can be found in a lighted corner of the room, reading books or doodling or listening to music. When she is forced to talk to others, she finds that the conversations tend to be awkward, with long, uncomfortable pauses every few sentences. She doesn't trust other people and will often put up a barrier between herself and whomever she is talking to. Although she doesn't like interacting with others, she does have a sense of humor. She'll laugh at the worst puns or giggle at an off-color joke. When she trusts whomever she is talking with enough, she'll make jokes of her own.

Despite her lack of trust, she tries to lend a helping hand to those in need. If she sees someone being bullied, she will try to help that person escape. Other times, she will give money to the homeless or disabled, mostly because she feels that they have a right enjoy worldly pleasures for at least a little while.

She does like girly things, like the color pink and ponies. She'd just rather take them in moderation. That's her motto for most things in life: it's all good in moderation. While she doesn't like a lot of noise, she will start listening to music to combat the silence every once in a great while. She often reads to escape her world, clinging to fantasy and science fiction. There are times when she wishes that she could go to another world and live where nobody has to feel pain, and she can trust people.

❧Musings of the Past

History: Eve grew up in a rough neighborhood in San Jose, California. Between the gangs and watching her family slowly fall apart, Eve became rather introverted and withdrawn. She felt that the only two people she could trust were her parents. Her father taught her how to get lost in a good book, while her mother encouraged her to write poetry and draw. She loved them both very dearly, even after their divorce.

Just as she was about to walk in on her mother with a new man, she was torn from the home and dumped in a random location in the Dying World.
Home world: An alternate universe of Earth. Looks like our own, save for the fact that Hilary Clinton is president and it's 2016. Technology is the same as present-day. The earth is widely polluted, and people have to wear gas masks in the more polluted areas.
