Likes: Anything to do with medicine, foxes, books
Dislikes: Awkward situations
Personality: Taliat tends to be very quiet and somewhat shy when dealing with humans. He often stands a few feet away from the person he's addressing so as not to feel confined. He is always concise and to-the-point; when he can manage it, though he tries his best not to be blunt. A few humans have been able to keep him around longer; these include his sister and his parents, as well as his aunt. He is a great deal more relaxed around them because he knows how they work, what makes them function, how he can help them when they need it. To him, they are reliable and consistent, an anchor he can hang on to when necessary.

He has a habit of being persistent in almost everything he does. It is hard for him to trade one task for another if the first task isn't finished. When he fails at a task, he makes note of what he did wrong and goes on. When he succeeds at a task, he makes note of it and moves on. Though he sometimes takes pride in what he has done right, he views most tasks as means to an end and doesn't attach much meaning to them.

Romance is not a goal at this point.

❧Musings of the Past

History: Taliat grew up in a small town. By the time he was 16, he knew he wanted to be a doctor or, more specifically, a surgeon. The human body and its structure fascinated him; he wanted to study the body extensively and in-person. He worked diligently throughout high school and got into a good college. He spent a good amount of time in college, moving on to medical school. Shortly after his 25th birthday, however, he was torn away from his world and dumped into the dying one.
Home world: He used to live in a small town on an island in an alternate universe. It was like earth but the continents were different; there was no "America," "Europe," or whathaveyou. It was ruled by a central council. The technology of the island wold be considered 10 years behind that of our modern-day technology.
